Fun Facts
I was a cultural exchange student in Raleigh, NC for my senior year of high school.
I chose to come to Minnesota for college because I love snow a lot and I like snowboarding in winter typically.
About Me
I am a Statistics major at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and have a minor in Math.
After graduating, I want to find a job in Data Analytics field first. Maybe after two to three years working experience, I will figure out a Master program of applied Statistic to continue my studying.
Experience
I have been working as a peer tutor in UMN Smart Learning Commons, which is a free walk-in service for all college students at the U since my freshmen year. I have the highest level CRLA certification for tutoring. I am good in tutoring college-level math, stats and Chinese specifically.
Approach
As an introverted student at a big University, I wanted to build up my communication skill and make friends so the tutoring job at UMN gives me a great opportunity to meet up with all different peers and I really enjoyed the successful feeling once students made improvement under my help or indicated their appreciation to me.
