About Me

I am a senior at Texas Christian University. My major is Studio Art: Printmaking and I do screen printing. I will graduate December 2011.

I started tutoring formally when I started working at Frog Tutoring. Before Frog Tutoring, I would set up study groups for my classmates and friends in subjects where I felt I could teach them. I do not try to help out or teach a subject I do not feel like I know very well or understand.
When tutoring, I like asking the student how they learn. Is it easier to see what they are learning, listen to an explanation, have specific examples? I am a very visual learner, so I personally need to see it and have the concept apply to my life. Therefore, I try to find out what method of learning works best for each student and try to use that for the subject we are studying.
