Fun Facts
One passion that I have is playing guitar. A few years ago, my dad taught me how to play and I've been hooked ever since. I really like country music, so those are the songs I play most of the time. But, usually I hear a song I like on the radio and I'll go home and teach myself how to play it! It's my way of relieving stress and having fun at the same time.
About Me
I'm a junior Business Marketing major at Texas Christian University. I'm also a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity, and over the past 2 years I've held the positions of Director of Public Relations and Director of Fudraising. When I graduate, I hope to start a career in the marketing field, possibly in digital marketing.
Experience
I tutored a student in High School math the summer of 2015 and I spent this past summer nannying two young boys. So, I've had a lot of experience with kids these past few years. In addition to this, I have a twin brother with learning disabilities. I've helped him with homework and study skills from time to time, so I have an understanding of what it takes to tutor. I also volunteered at Como Community Center in Fort Worth last semester where I tutored preschoolers in various subjects.
Approach
I hope to encourage students to try their best and work their hardest at their schoolwork. I've seen kids who can't get motivated to do homework or who feel like they can't improve no matter how hard they try. So, I want to bring a positive attitude to each session and help students strive to be their best!

Marketing
Business Tutoring
I was admitted into TCU's Neeley School of Business last year, and since then I've taken a plethora of business courses. I have taken Foundations in Business, Business Law, Business Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, and I'm currently taking Business Applications in Excel, Marketing Managemnt, Financial Management and Business Ethics.
Psychology Tutoring
I took AP Psychology my Senior year of High School and continued on to take the AP test for the course. I really enjoyed this course and I feel that I could help tutor and develop basic psychology terms.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I've been helping my twin brother, who has learning disabilities, with his homework my whole life. I understand what it takes to motivate students and help them reach their full potential. I also have great ideas for studying and homework techniques.
Math Tutoring
I tutored High School math my Freshman year of college. I mostly tutored at the Pre-Algebra/Algebra level, however I also have knowledge in the Geometry area. .
Elementary Math Tutoring
I've held various jobs and volunteer positions involving kids throughout my life. This past summer I nannied two young boys for 10 hours a day, five days a week. In past summers, I nannied a fourth grade girl for four days a week. I've also volunteered for three summers at a camp for kids with special needs, and I spent last spring semester tutoring preschoolers at Como Community Center in Fort Worth.
Guitar Tutoring
I've been playing acoustic guitar for 5 years. My dad first taught my in high school and ever since then I try to play at least once a week. I'm able to learn new songs by reading chord sheets, and I can easily teach someone basic skills such as chords and strumming techniques.
Microsoft Excel Tutoring
I am Microsoft Office 2013 Certified, which means I have taken classes and passed certification exams for Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I am also currently taking a Business Applications in Excel class that meets 1 hour a week to further my excel skills. I've used excel in many of my classes for the past 2 years, so I feel I have sufficient knowledge in this subject.
Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring
I am Microsoft Office 2013 Certified, which means I have taken classes and passed certification exams for Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I had used PowerPoint since middle school, and I feel very comfortable using this program. I really enjoy working with computers, so I've taken the time to develop my PowerPoint skills as much as I can.
Microsoft Windows Tutoring
The Neeley School of Business requires students to use a Windows operating system on our computers, so I've been working with Windows my whole college career. In addition to this, I've always had a Windows system at home, so I know a lot about how to navigate through and use the system. My dad is also very interested in computers, so he has taught me new skills along the way.
Microsoft Word Tutoring
I am Microsoft Office 2013 Certified, which means I have taken classes and passed certification exams for Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I use Microsoft Word almost every day to complete various homework assignments, so I feel very comfortable navigating and completing work with Word.
