About Me
I am a TCU graduate. I received my masters in Sport Psychology in 2018. I currently work in Fort Worth in a day treatment center for individuals who has experienced a traumatic brain injury. I love my job, it combines multiple aspects of Kinesiology and is so gratifying
Experience
I have been tutoring privately since I was 16 years old. In high school, I worked with kindergarten children creating lesson plans and helping with homework. From there, when I started college and I began working with high school students as well as other collegiate students from other schools. I was able to aid as a homework coach specializing in organizational skills, which in turn allowed me to create a network of students.
Approach
When I was younger I had tutors who typically more told me the answers instead of guiding me which yielding me helpless in exams. This is the opposite effect I have with anyone. My main focus is on organization. Being organized is the first step towards any success. Next I work to facilitate an open learning environment where students are able to ask questions and learn from me while knowing they can perform their tasks independently of me when at school.
