Fun Facts

I am a first generation Hungarian who has a love for the old country. I especially enjoy the food! I love learning about other countries and wanting to know more about the culture of each one. My dogs are like my family as well as my dad and two brothers. I absolutely love winter clothing the best because everyone looks wonderful all bundled up. That is why I enjoy winter even when it is biting cold outside and try to prolong it as much as I can.

About Me

I am an undergraduate student at St. Edward's University and I thoroughly enjoy it. I hope to study abroad sometime soon and I enjoy learning. I am interested in business and helping others whether that is fixing their essays or helping them realize a concept in math that they just don't seem to get. I am personable and have a smile when I talk or so many people say.

I have tutored online for a year in high school for volunteer hours. The students were very diverse and had many different questions. I tried to help them as best as I can. I have also worked at Kumon during my senior year of high school. I helped students in the reading room better their English skills and explained the literature questions that the upper level students were studying.

I want the students to show me what they do not understand. When that happens, I then work it out in a way where I can explain it in simple enough terms as what to do for the next step. For example, when a student is asking about a math concept that they just cannot get, I explain it to them utilizing examples, as that is how I best learn. I also want them to practice the concept more until they master it. When I was austin">tutoring at Kumon, the students would have pages where they needed to guess what the picture was and spell it correctly. There were some words that they were never exposed to like parcel and the base concept was not the guessing of the word but the spelling of it. So I would tell them the word, have them spell it 5 times then repeat it back to me verbally without looking at the word. I had them learn the word instead of having them guess what the word is. This not only frustrates the student but also the austin">tutor. My style of austin">tutoring helped the child learn what the concept is trying to get across.
