I absolutely love to read. My sister taught me how to read when I was 2 years old, and I have been reading ever since. I consume any and every genre, and love every minute of it.
I'm from a very small town in central Texas.
I have a Siamese cat named Mia.
I love to cook and to kick box.
My most favorite book is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.

About Me

Howdy!
My name is Allie Lanfranco. I graduated in May from Texas A&M University as an English Major Education minor. The one true calling in my life is teaching. I love to learn, read, and write, and to teach others to love English as much as I do.

I am certified to teach grades early childhood through 6th grade in all subjects and grades 4th-8th in English. Due to the economy, I am not employed in a school district. Tutoring is an opportunity for me to not only get to do what I love, but to be able to help others as well. I have experience tutoring all grades in reading and English.

My approach to tutoring is to get to know my client and find out what makes them tick. I do not want the student to just get through the subject. I want to help them learn to appreciate it, and hopefully, learn to love learning about what used to make them struggle. I hope that I can be the best fit for my clients and truly help them to expand their learning.
