Fun Facts

One of the things my friends enjoy about me is that I have a very mixed sense of taste in everything. I love computers, mathematics, biology, medicine, music, drawing, acting, and public speaking. One of my favorite is definitely music and singing, I sing a lot and in the process of making a YouTube channel, so stay tuned :D

About Me

I am a senior Mathematics and science/virginia/richmond">Computer Science (Pre-Med) major at Virginia Commonwealth University. I've been on Dean's List for 2 times with a hope to do it again this semester for a 3rd time. I am planning on either medical school or an MBA. My dream is to open a company that would transform healthcare through technology.

Experience

I was hired as an Arabic and Mathematics tutor in the Virginia Commonwealth University Global Education Office. I used to tutor Arabic and English to Arab international students on campus who barely spoke English. I also tutored mathematics in both English and Arabic. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in college because I got to interact with so many people and getting to see how bilinguals struggle in the beginning of their journey in the USA gave me a sense of empathy.

Approach

When I first moved to the United States in 2010 from Egypt as a Sophomore in High school , I struggled academically due to language challenges, especially that the learning system in Egypt and USA are very different. I started reading books about how to learn and to excel academically when I started Junior year of high school, what I learned helped me a lot academically from barely speaking a word of English to getting Dean's list and above 3.5 GPA's in College. I am very excited to teach you.
