People call me weird for it, but I LOVE MATH!!
About Me
I have degrees in Neuroscience (B.S.) and Biomedical Engineering (B.S.E.) with a minor in Psychology. I am currently a biomedical engineering graduate student at Arizona State University. I love academia and plan to make a career as a professor of neural engineering. I enjoy teaching, tutoring, and mentoring. I have a wide variety of knowledge and experiences that make me a unique tutor. Before college, I served in the Marine Corps as an electronic's technician.
Experience
I graduated college with a 3.7 in biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I graduated high school with a 4.3 GPA and received the National Hispanic Merit Scholar Award. I spent many years in high school and middle school volunteering to tutor fellow students. While serving in the Marine Corps I also volunteered to tutor fellow Marines in college courses and military job training. I love to learn and I love helping people. I am excited to combine those two passions into a job with Frog tutoring
Approach
As a very young student, I had a very hard time learning how to read. Luckily, my mom found me a tutor with the patience and creativity to help me learn. Once I did, school became one of my favorite things to do. As a tutor, I use these two techniques to ensure my students learn in the way best suitable for them while also having fun and learning to enjoy the material. Every student I tutor has a personalized approach to suit their learning type.
