About Me

I am currently a sophomore majoring in Biology at St. Mary’s University. In the future, I would like to attend medical school and further pursue my goals of becoming a physician. My favorite subjects include math and science. As a full time student, it is really important to read, so I enjoy that as well. I am just a typical hardworking student trying to find my place in the world. I love helping people, especially students to achieve their goals.

In my free time, I help other students excel in courses I have taken by tutoring them when they need help. I also volunteer at different places. Currently at my school, I proctor for the General Biology freshman level class and teach the histology portion.

I love to teach students a particular subject in an organized, professional, and exciting style. I will create a lesson plan highlighting my goals for the student and will seek to achieve it. In the beginning of my session, I like to ask questions to find out what they have learned. Then I like to help them with whatever is challenging them the most. I think the key to passing any course is taking notes, practicing, and asking questions; therefore I highly encourage this.
