Fun Facts

I'm passionate about track and field, I can play the classical guitar and am proficient in french. I love traveling and exploring new cultures, as well as, learning new languages. I speak English and Spanish, and am proficient in French. I've been to Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain and hope to travel to more places in the near future.

About Me

I am a Junior Biology major at FIU, with hopes of getting admitted to medical school. I have a great work ethic and am very driven.

Experience

In High School, I was apart of the math honor society and did about 2 hours of tutoring per week, during my junior and senior year. Prior to that, I would always help my younger sister with her math or english homework.

Approach

I'm actually take great interest in the science of learning. I've researched lots of different study methods and learning theories. Personally, I wasn't so good at math in middle school. So, I understand the frustration of another student when they may not be performing so well, what I find that helps in technical courses such as math is to classify each topic, before beginning a problem, so that the student may identify weak areas along the way, and address them accordingly.
