I have been tutoring for 5 years. I love teaching math and helping students change their perspective on the subject. There is a world of possibilities that the right teacher can help a student to access.

About Me

I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Howard University. I enjoy tutoring and meeting new people.

Experience

I always helped my cousins and friends with math growing up. Professionally, I started tutoring in college algebra and basic math during my sophomore year of college and really enjoy it.

Approach

I try to help students visualize concepts physically where possible, if that's not possible then the next best thing is to compare mathematical to something they may relate to. I believe math is a language and it can be taught to the willing. I also really try to get the student to think critically about the subject and articulate the greater lesson about thinking that can be learned from math, not just memorize concepts.
