I love cooking, and I can make cute bento boxes. I would be happy if I could have the chance to share my cooking! In addition, I've always been passionate about literature from all cultures. I chose Ancient Chinese Literature as my second major in college. If you are interested in Chinese Literature of Chinese language, I would be honored to share my ideas with you!
About Me
Currently, I'm a graduate student at washington-university">George Washington University majoring in Accounting. Before this, I got a Master's Degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins University; my bachelor degree was from Hong Kong Baptist University, also in Accountancy. I'm also taking the Certified Public Accountant exams.
Experience
I was a tutor for Academic Reading and Writing course at Hong Kong Baptist University. During such time, I taught writing skills and presentation skills to freshmen and helped them with their reports. In addition, I have had the opportunities to work as an intern for an investment institution in Hong Kong and a DC-based REIT company. Currently, I'm working as an Accounting Intern for a non-profit organization that promotes robotic technology.
Approach
Before college, I was never a "smart" student because I found learning to be boring and was afraid to take on challenges. However, when I got into college, I met many amazing professors who made me realize that I have the potential to achieve more. As a tutor, I try to help students discover their potential and build their self-confidence. The best result of education is the advance for both intelligence and personality, for both the teacher and the student.
