I danced from age 3-20! I studied Dance in college when I was at UNCG.
I have had many classes in Sociology.
I love arts and crafts!

About Me

I am a senior at Belmont Abbey College and love the teaching program and professors there! I am so passionate about students learning and me learning from them. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl and that dream is finally coming true!

I tutored with a program through Sylvan when I was a student at UNCG. We went into school after school had ended and tutored students that did not pass their end of grade tests. I have also nannied for two children, one 1st grade -3rd grade and the other 3rd grade-5th grade, where I had to help them complete homework and make sure they comprehended the concepts. The little boy was dyslexic.

My first step would be to find the area in which they are having trouble. From there I would work backwards if necessary to figure out where the problem lies. Once we figured out the problem we would work on strategies to fix the problem and figure out what works best for the student in order for them to grasp the concept.
