Fun Facts
I am a New Orleans Saints fan even though I am from New York. I played piano for 7 years and I still secretly play the keyboard in my apartment! I enjoy playing basketball & tennis, and I enjoy most outdoor activities.
About Me
I was born and raised in Staten Island NY. My family moved to New Jersey at the time I went to Manhattan College in New York, where I received a BS in chemical engineering. Then, I worked as a process engineer for two years in New Jersey. I moved to Raleigh in August 2016 to enroll in graduate school at NC State University on the path for a PhD in chemical engineering because I hope to become a professor one day.
Experience
I began tutoring my peers in high school as part of the honors program. I then worked at the Manhattan College Center for Academic Success as a tutor for four years tutoring college level chemistry, calculus, algebra, physics, and economics. During this time, I also privately tutored high school chemistry and calculus to several clients in New York City. After graduating, I worked at a high school tutoring company in New Jersey for two years while working as a process engineer.
Approach
I believe that tutoring is more than just teaching subjects. It is about exploring the individual strengths and struggles of each student, and providing a unique solution to meet that student's needs. In that way, I believe no two students are the same. Some students struggle with concepts, some with applications, some with organizational skills, and I pride myself on analyzing each unique situation and providing a novel solution.

Calculus I Tutoring
I first took AP Calculus in high school. In college, I received an A in Calculus 1, 2, and 3. Also, I tutored Calculus to my peers for four years in college.
Chemistry I Tutoring
I received an A in Chemistry 1, 2 and Organic Chemistry 1, 2 in college. I tutored Chemistry 1 for four years in college, and use chemistry every day at work and school.
Chemistry II Tutoring
I received an A in Chemistry 1, 2 and Organic Chemistry 1, 2 in college. I tutored Chemistry 1 for four years in college, and use chemistry every day at work and school.
College Algebra Tutoring
I tutored Algebra 1 and 2 to my peers for four years in college. I have also tutored subjects such as Calculus where Algebra plays a major role.

I first took Pre Calculus in high school. In college, I received an A in Calculus 1, 2, and 3. Also, I tutored Pre Calculus to my peers for four years in college.
Study Skills Tutoring
I give much of my academic success credit to my organizational and study skills. I have helped students study and prepare for exams for four years in college.

I tutored Algebra 1 and 2 to my peers for four years in college, and two years afterwards to high school students. I have also tutored subjects such as Calculus where Algebra plays a major role.

I tutored Algebra 1 and 2 to my peers for four years in college, and two years afterwards to high school students. I have also tutored subjects such as Calculus where Algebra plays a major role.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I received an A in AP Chemistry in high school, as well as Chemistry 1, 2 in college. I tutored AP Chemistry for one year in college, and two years after college.
