Homework Coach Tutoring

I have received A's and B's in my education college courses. At the Boys & Girls Club, I constantly help our elementary school students with their math and reading homework, projects, studying for test, and we also run the educational based programs during the week for all the students. As a mentor, I help students with their homework assignments and I also help them to build and develop excellent homework habits and skills while during their homework .

Elementary Math Tutoring

At the Boys & Girls Club I help students with their math assignments and homework. We also have educational math based programs that we run for the students during the week. I worked with my University as a math tutor in our Summer Learning Institute Program. I have taken Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers I (A) & Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers II (B+); where I have had to base my math practicums on these classes when I work with my students at my assigned school.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

At the Boys & Girls Club I help students with their reading homework and comprehension practices. We also run reading/comprehension educational based programs weekly. I am currently taking Elementary Reading and Language Arts courses, my quizzes and test scores have been A's and B's. I have a practicum helping 2 to 4 students from the classroom at the school I was assigned to working on their reading comprehension packets.

Study Skills Tutoring

I have helped students prepare for quizzes and tests during mentoring, at the Boys & Girls Club, and at my practicums. I have developed study guides and taught the students how to study. When working with my students, I have showed them various ways to acquire excellent study habits and study skills. My college classes all involve study skills and I have received A's and B's in all my courses using these skills.
