Fun Facts

I enjoy playing Sudoku and attempting to cook when I have the time. I try to go camping whenever I can, but it always manages to rain whenever or wherever I go camping. Even when I went camping in the desert, it rained. I love traveling. I am lucky that I have had many opportunities to see most of the States and hope that one day I can see more of the World. About Me

I currently work full time as a Project Manager/ Executive Assistant for a Public Affairs Firm located at State & Wacker. Along with office management work, I do research, write reports and maintain contact with our clients. I hope to supplement my time here with a chicago">tutoring job where I can interact with, assist and get to know students. I have spent a good chunk of my work experience with students and have felt a void without having those interactions in my life.

It was an excellent experience recruiting volunteers and teaching them how to make phone calls or knock on doors. I spent time visiting high schools in the area and to teach students about the election and campaign process. By the end of the campaign, we had about 100 high school volunteers who I worked closely with.

Before working on the campaign, I was a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. It was, above all else, a very well-rounded education. In addition to a major in History and a minor in Black Studies, I had the opportunity to explore many subject areas including Ecology & Life Sciences. I spent my spare time as a barista in a coffee shop in addition to completing a course in outdoor leadership. I was also an active member in my sorority, holding two Executive Board positions.

After graduation, I decided I missed the Midwest and moved back home with my parents to save money in hopes that one day those funds will go towards living in Australia and traveling around South East Asia.

In high school, I volunteered as a chicago">tutor at Asian Youth Services. In college I took an early childhood education course and totaled 30 in class volunteer hours at Brandon Middle School in Santa Barbara, California. During the summers, I worked as a camp counselor and youth lacrosse coach. Babysitting for over a decade, I am an
