My goal is to become an English professor and a writer. I've written several stories and poems, and though I am unpublished, I have won several awards.

About Me

I like writing, reading (mostly fantasy), video games. I think what makes me so good at detroit">tutoring younger people is that part of me never really grew up. But I like working with others and learning and teaching, and whenever I can meet new people, I consider it to be a good day.,

I tutored, for the first time in high school. I had AP English and math courses, and I always helped people in my own class. After I was unable to join the National Honor Society, (my essay was late) I took to detroit">tutoring people in the library, even some students from NHS.

When I started college, I started working for the Homework Mastery Center, a detroit">tutoring company based in Detroit. I worked with students in grades K-12 in core subjects and Test Prep.

Of course it pays to temper my approach to the particular needs of each individual student, but if I had to generalize my detroit">tutoring style, I would say that it takes advantage of the small-group setup.
I have found, through my experience, that often times students simply need extra time and practice that they don't normally have outside of school. But in almost all cases, students benefit from the small group, so taking advantage of that, taking time to learn the student, is the true benefit of detroit">tutoring. I am not a teacher, so my attention, like the students, is not nearly as divided as it would be in a classroom setting. My approach is direct, personal; it is strengthened through the one-on-one atmosphere that detroit">tutoring suggests, and I am able to compile a more accurate assessment of a students skills and weaknesses, and better relay them to the parents.
