Fun Facts

Two of my passions in life would be reading and art. Rarely do I not have a book that I am currently reading. Also if you are looking for recommendations, you've come to the right person! Art is another one of my favorite pastimes. I love being creative and exploring with different colors materials. My favorite kinds of art are coloring, decorating, and more recently paint by sticker! About Me

I am currently a second grade teacher. I have been teaching for three year but have been working with kids for over eight years. I come from a large family: two younger sisters and two younger brothers. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. When I am not working, I can be found reading, watching a new show, doing an art project, or out trying something new.

Experience

I received my bachelors degree from PSU in Foregin languages: Spanish. I completed my masters degree in teaching from Lewis and Clark college. I spent one year as a substitute in the Portland Metro area. For the past two years, I have been teaching second grade in the Beaverton School District.

Approach

As a teacher, I believe that all students can succeed. I will work with students to make sure they understand the content by using visuals, videos, and demonstrations whenever possible. Then students will work on explaining the information back to me to ensure comprehension. I will work with students to help them stay organized and help them be successful in school and beyond.
