I am a belly dancer and I also know how to read music. As a child, I played cuatro (Puerto Rican national instrument) and mandolin in a well known music group and traveled to other countries to play shows. Im also good at arts and crafts and can make just about anything cosume-wise.

About Me

I am a veterinarian in the process of completing my small animal rotating internship at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists. I went to school in the West Indies and finished my undergraduate years in Cornell University. Ive used a lot of my academic years to travel to different countries while gaining credits for my degrees.

Experience

I do not have previous experience tutoring. In the past, I did help my nephews and nieces finish their homework and school projects but this process barely involved any active explanation of subjects. I was mostly a supervising party making sure they finished their work. My only teaching experience has been teaching dance workshops for different Middle Eastern and South Asian dance types.

Approach

I feel like every student will require a different approach in terms of guidance or teaching. In order for both parties to understand what type of approach the student needs, I will have to first attempt at asking several questions in terms of what they struggle with the most and what type of teaching methods they have problems with. I'd guide my method accordingly and try to provide additional references or study tips as needed.
