I enjoy drawing, sketching, and painting watercolors occasionally. I also love traveling for leisure and also to look for inspiration.
About Me
Currently work at an architecture firm in Boston training in architecture to fulfill my goal of becoming a senior architectural designer. Architecture and design are my greatest passions. I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design where I officially received my training in BArch, and Fine Arts. However, I've been an artist, crafter, and designer my entire life even since I was a kid. I come from Latino background, I am complete fluent in Spanish and took AP Spanish in High School.
Experience
Ever since college until now, I've had numerous opportunities to work with others. At RISD, I participated in crits giving my peers advice and constructive criticism on how to improve their design schemes. I've also done some graphic design work for logos, invitations, and flyers for special events. I've also participated and won design competitions. Additionally, I often volunteer in different design related events with the BSA and HUBweek.
Approach
One of the most valuable lessons I learned during my time at RISD was learning through failure. I want to be able to spread this form of teaching/coaching because I find it was the best way to be successful at learning. With this opportunity, I hope to meet students who for some reason are struggling, I want to analyze their areas of improvement and help them succeed by encouraging them and through helpful advice.

ARCHITECTURE AND FINE ARTS
Adobe InDesign Tutoring
I have used this program since before college level and on to produce drawings, logos, books, fliers, and presentations for both school, work, and outside as a freelancer. I still used it constantly and know its main features and how to produce work in it.

Arts Tutoring
I've had an arts background for a very long time since I was a kid. In middle school, I took Advance Art class in which I created many pieces of arts experimenting with watercolors and pastels. Art and design have always been a great passion of mine and hobbies--they're constantly part of my everyday life. In High School, I was accepted into a program called Project Link and Link Lite at Harvard University where I discovered my passion for architecture, hence leading to my acceptance at RISD and now as my training as an architectural designer.
Homework Coach Tutoring
As part of this experience, I hope to be a coach, a mentor. I think I have personal qualities beyond the knowledge I have in multiple subjects such as patience, positive thinking, and determinism that I think are highly important to be a mentor, these are actually the qualities that define one in addition to knowledge and leadership.
Spanish I Tutoring
I am a native Spanish speaker. I received my elementary school eduction fully in Spanish in the Dominican Republic where I was born and raised till the age of 9. In High School, I took AP Spanish and did excellent in it. I was one of the brightest students in the class and I passed my exam with a 5, perfect score. In class, I often helped out and was chosen numerous times by my teacher to help those who struggled in the subject, something I demonstrated to do well, especially with my virtue of patience.
