Fun Facts

I am a Cisco Certified Network Associate and I was part of the team that represented NY in one of Cisco's North American competition in 2012. Yet, I chose to go to college as a Finance major and I never tried put my certification into use. I enrolled in the certification program and went through the whole thing for two years just to participate in the competition and win an iPad.

About Me

I am a rising sophomore at Fordham. I came to United States in 2007 and I worked hard from day one to get up to speed with the rest. I graduated high school with a 4.0 with honors and leadership endorsement. My favorite accomplishment of all time is being elected as the National Honor Society President of my school. From building relationships with administrators of non-profit organizations and dedicated students from my own school to leading the community service activities, the experience was memorable at the very least.

During my senior year of high school, I tutored a student for her SATs. When I was hired, she already took her SAT once in January and received a 1080. After three months of rigorous queens">tutoring, she received a 1560 in her May SAT exam. She received a 580 in Math, 520 in Reading, and 460 in writing. I also tutored a few other students on SAT math.

I like to lead the students into the right direction rather than just telling them what is the right answer. I believe it is much more satisfying to work out the answer by yourself (with help from a queens">tutor), rather than someone just solving all the problems for you. It also builds the student's confidence as they progress, which is crucial to succeed in subjects such as Math and Science.
