About Me

I am a junior at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I am studying Biomedical Physics for my major here. I am also a member of the Honors College here at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I am a very organized person and time-efficient. If something has to be done by a certain time, I will have it done by then. I don't like to be late for anything. I am also a very patient, a trait I developed from detroit">tutoring in the past because I realize that everyone learns material at a different pace. Some people might grasp the concept right away; others will need a couple tries before grasping the concept.

I tutored fellow high school students in math-related subjects: Calculus I, Calculus II, and Physics. From 11th grade of high school until now, I have done extensive detroit">tutoring in Physics where now some students I've tutored refer their friends to me if any help in Physics is needed. I had done some detroit">tutoring in Spanish when I was in high school but none in college. Nevertheless, I have taken Spanish 3 in college so I am familiar with the material.

The first time, I usually get to know how much information the students know already and work from there. I'll teach the students material in order of the textbook. I'll show various formulas that are key for that part of the class and have them practice the formulas by either having them work problems from the textbook or having them work on problems I make up. I'll work with the students for the time being. If I feel they are making progress, I'll have them do some problems on their own while watching them in case they make a mistake in the middle to solving the problem. For problems that are confusing or hard, I'll show the students shortcuts to solving them and other tricks I had learned and used when I took the courses in the past.
