Fun Facts
I enjoy outdoor sports that include water and martial arts (mainly taekwondo and muay thai). I played Rugby as the flank and wing. I also like to go hiking, camping, backpacking.. but at the same time I like staying at home gardening, baking, or cooking.
About Me
I am a University of California San Diego graduate, with a bachelor's in Physiology and Neuroscience. I am a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and I am trying to fill my time with productive and meaningful work until I leave for The Basic School.
Experience
I've tutored for over 3 years with FrogTutoring, families that have recommended me, and with my peers at UCSD. I love helping those younger than myself with the classes I've already taken so that they can be even more successful than I have been. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time teaching and learning topics that I find to be fascinating.
Approach
I like to find out the personality of who I'm teaching and change how I teach according to that. Since everyone learns differently, my approach to teaching depends on my student.

AP Chemistry Tutoring
I've taken AP Chemistry in high school, and passed the AP test in 2016. I've also taken 3 quarters of college-level general chemistry at UCSD. I can explain the concepts to you, because it took me a while to understand them myself. I've been able to simplify the difficult problems it so that it's easier to understand. I can help you work through problems and strengthen concepts.
AP Physics Tutoring
I've taken AP Physics during high school and a quarter of College level physics at UCSD. Don't let gravity keep you down! I can help you understand the forces that can help you accelerate your education. (Haha)

Biology is my favorite subject to teach because it's what I understand and love the most.
Biology AP Tutoring
I took the AP Bio Exam in 2014 and achieved a score of 5.
Calculus AP Tutoring
I took AP Calc AB in 2015 and BC in 2016. For both exams, I received a score of 5. I had the immense luck of having amazing teachers and I hope to help others achieve the same level of understanding that I have.
Chemistry Tutoring
I've completed the general chemistry courses at UCSD with flying colors. I'm confident that I can help you or your child achieve a higher level of understanding in chemistry.
Psychology Tutoring
I took AP Psychology in 2015 and received a 5. Psychology is simple in that the most difficult thing about it is memorizing vocabulary. I hope to help students think more deeply about why and how people think and act.
Science Tutoring
This is an incredibly broad subject. My life so far has revolved around science and its applications. Teaching the beauty and usefulness of science is my dream job.
