Fun Facts

I come from a huge family and am the youngest of 7 children—I also have 14 nieces and nephews! In my free time I like to read, write, hike, ski, and hang out at the beach.

About Me

I am a middle school English Language Arts teacher. I graduated from Boston College in 2019 with a double major in English and Secondary Education. I am certified to teach ELA in grades 5-12 and hold a Sheltered English Immersion license certifying me to teach ESL as well. I love working with students of all ages.

Experience

I have tutored students of all ages, from the time I was in high school myself. Everything from helping young elementary school students learn to read, to high schoolers studying for AP exams and SATs.

Approach

In my teaching, I try and build self-efficacy, confidence, and positivity into the student experience. I guide students to reach the answer on their own by supporting them with skills and strategies that will help them be able to think critically and problem solve on their own.
