About Me

I am junior Mathematics major at University of North Carolina, Charlotte. I have a 4.0 GPA. I LOVE MATH!!!!! I have a concentration in Actuarial Science. Basically, I'm learning how to make predictions with math. My ultimate goal is to become a financial advisor.

Experience

I have been a mathematics tutor for the past 13 years. My first job was tutoring an elementary student. I was in 7th grade at the time. Since then, I volunteered with multiple programs and provided private tutoring intermittently. In short, I LOVE MATH!

Approach

I believe every person's mind works differently. As a result, everyone learns differently. I encourage students to think out loud. It helps me learn how best to help. I also believe thinking out loud helps create an environment in which the student feels comfortable making a mistake. Students learn a mistake is simply an opportunity to learn.
