I love to work out and eat healthy. I love getting bruises because they make me feel tough! My favorite show is Psych and my favorite band is Relient K. I will only eat mayo if it is on a sandwich from Subway. I prefer mustard. :)

About Me

I am from Arlington, TX and am studying to be a physical therapist. I'm majoring in Movement Science and minoring in Biology, so I have a large science background. I am currently a junior. I serve as an RA in Clark Hall and as an Honors Student Ambassador for the TCU Honors College. I take grades and work very seriously and love helping people better understand what they are studying.

Experience:
1. I have tutored Biology for the past two years.
2. I took Intro to Biology I&II as a freshman and made an A both semesters.
3. I took an Anatomy class last semester and received the top grade in my class.
4. I have lots of experience as a tutor both with FrogTutoring and the Athlete Tutoring program at TCU

Approach:
Generally I start out sessions by asking the student if there is anything specific that his/her professor has gone over since we last met that he/she is especially confused on or struggling with. After we cover that material, I go through all the notes and new material since our last session reviewing and re-explaining the new concepts. Finally, I sit with the student as he/she works through any practice problems or homework. When there is an upcoming test or quiz I will quiz the student on the material, especially that which the student has the most trouble with. I also go back over any old quizzes or tests the student has to make sure he/she understands the mistakes made.
