Fun Facts
I am truly a nerd at heart, but I also thoroughly enjoy playing a wide range of sports; especially volleyball, baseball, and football. My favorite TV shows are The Big Bang Theory and How I met Your Mother, and other than those shows I very seldom watch TV or movies. I have a background in business and I love helping people with starting their own companies as well as all aspects of marketing and advertising!
About Me
I am so grateful to have you reading my bio! I have been attending Medical School at the UNM School of Medicine for the past 2 years. I recently decided to change my focus in the medical field, however, which is giving me an opportunity to help those in need within my community while I prepare for my next steps in my own education.
Experience
I have degrees in Business Administration and Chemistry from the University of San Diego, and two years of medical school under my belt. I began tutoring in high school and have have had the opportunity to continue doing so ever since. I have tutored people in a wide range of subjects and as young as kindergarten up to 60 years of age. I love tutoring as it gives me the opportunity to impact many peoples' lives in a very significant way which I hope helps them far into their future.
Approach
I attempt to customize my teaching style to the specific interests and learning styles of each person I tutor. Some people are visual learners while others are auditory, hands on, etc., so I have a wide range of tools at my disposal to help people learn and retain in the most effective way possible. I am also up to date on all of the newest research on learning, and I use the techniques discussed in published papers to help people truly LEARN material and not simply memorize for exams.
