Although I'm neither a vegan nor a vegetarian, I'm something of a whiz when it comes to baking vegan desserts. Other talents include fashioning jewelry from household items and bringing an exceptionally competitive spirit to board game nights.
Mangoes are, bar none, my favorite fruit.

I'm a Miami native, English lit enthusiast, writer and copy editor. In addition to being fluent in English and Spanish (I even tutored in Spanish for a year) I am also working on my Portuguese. I'm passionate about learning new things, and like to share this passion with others.

I served as a ninth and tenth grade math miami">tutor in a one-year urban education fellowship program, driving student achievement through individualized instruction. I provided bilingual instruction to students, and played an integral role in making math education accessible to the students who speak English as a second language, as well as offering mentoring and close academic support, and facilitating the development of study skills.

I served as an academic miami">tutor for miami">University of Miami athletes in assorted subject areas, including mathematics, sociology, anthropology and English. As part of this job, I designed unique study schedules and techniques for each student, boosting organization and class preparedness. Additionally, I successfully helped numerous athletes achieve high marks in their respective classes, contributing to the university’s high graduation rates for student athletes.



My miami">tutoring approach is to meet students where they are academically, and help them master concepts in a way that is tailored to their individual needs. My goal is always for students to feel confident about what they are learning; I like for them to leave with a thorough understanding of the material, which will help them build upon their knowledge in the future.
