Fun Facts
I am a sophomore at Villanova University and have a passion for volunteer work and community activism. As a member of the sophomore service learning community, I have participated in many service projects including a Habitat for Humanity trip to Cape Fear, NC. I am also a member of the executive board for Rays of Sunshine which provides tutoring services to students in the greater Philadelphia region.
About Me
I am a sophomore psychology major with a Spanish minor. In addition, I am on the pre-health track for occupational therapy. After I graduate I hope to earn my Master's in occupational therapy and become a certified occupational therapist specializing in pediatrics.
Experience
As a member of the National Honor Society, I had the opportunity to tutor students weekly, with a focus on regents level math and science. In college I tutor with the Rays of Sunshine program and have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in the Philadelphia area.
Approach
Throughout grade school and into high school my parents had always supported my academic endeavors. In High School I was a straight-A student and became an AP scholar with distinction upon graduation. As a first generation college student the motivation to succeed continued to push me to pursue my passions. My academic dedication has continued to develop into college, earning me a spot on the Dean's list this past semester.
