I have always enjoyed school and have received great grades throughout my education experiences; including K-12, undergrad, and now with my Master's program.

About Me

I am currently enrolled in the Urban Community Teacher Education program at UC Denver for an Elementary Teacher's license. I will finish this program in December, 2013 and will continue my education to receive a MA in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver. I was born in Iowa and grew up in Colorado. I received my undergraduate degree from CSU in Fort Collins and have enjoyed living in Denver ever since. I love children and working with students so I decided to go back to school to receive my MA and become an elementary teacher! denver">Tutoring would be a great part time job for me in addition to my classes and internship this fall.
In my free time, I enjoy being active with snowboarding and working out with kickboxing and weight lifting classes. I also love movies, reading, football, shopping, traveling, and being with family and friends.





I am new to the education world, therefore, I have not previously had an actual denver">tutoring job. I do have experience with students and helping them with their school work. I also have volunteer experience with reading to children.

I believe all children have the potential to accomplish their dreams and education is a very important part of everyone's dreams. I want to help students become confident in their abilities and continue to enjoy learning and school. My approach to denver">tutoring and mentoring is to be a caring, passionate, and reliable adult that each student can trust and look up to. I believe that a good denver">tutor and mentor can help students understand the importance of a good education, commitment, confidence, courage, and passion to never stop learning.
