About Me

I graduated from the University of Virginia this spring! Though I majored in both Urban & Environmental Planning and Political Science, I really enjoy Math and Science. I hope to attend law school in two years! I am very passionate about dance, but I love all sorts of physical activities.

Experience

I have volunteered in classrooms for about 6 years, working with groups of students and students individually. I started charlotte">tutoring and working as a teacher's assistant in high school, and found an organization at the University of Virginia that allowed for me to also work in a third grade classroom. I was also a member of an organization called PLAY, allowing for University of Virginia students to partner with a local Boys & Girls Club and do homework as well as extracurricular activities with

Approach

My approach is to figure out the root of the problem and also determine how the student best learns, weather it is to break down the content fully together, I do-you do approach etc. I also think it is important to make sure there is time for the student to show mastery of the material. I strive to make tutorial sessions as engaging as possible.
