Fun Facts

I am obsessed with cats!! Cats are wonderful and magical creatures and I just love them to death XD Also, I really like this Chinese K-pop celebrity, Zhang Yi Xing! He's talented, good-looking, and suave. He gave me the initiative to study Chinese and I took up to Chinese intermediate 1 course at NYU Shanghai. Every hour I spent in Shanghai was absolutely awesome and delightful!

About Me

I am a rising senior majoring in English Secondary Education at New York University. I have maintained 3.5-3.7 GPA for the past couple of years. My strength in teaching English is generating ideas and finding apt pieces of evidence for writing essays. I will be a great help with grammar and sentence structure issues too!

Experience

I've taught English to students whose ages range from 7 to 17 roughly for the past 6 years. I'm an experienced ESL educator and a standardized test prep tutor for SATs and TOEFL.

Approach

I am an organized lesson planner so I always create a detailed lesson plan to visualize each step and method to reach the goal. In this way, tasks are specific and simple to follow for both the student and me: clear instruction of "how to do what" is given throughout the lessons. I am nice and generous, but definitely not lenient. Also, I am VERY patient so there's NO pressure AT ALL when learning with me! :D
