Fun Facts
I spent much of my childhood on the retail business that my father used to own. I kept busy all way up to college helping my dad on his retail business that helped me discover a love for math and appreciate its application in doing business.
About Me
I am a computer engineer by profession. I have MSc in computer engineering with some PhD graduate courses from NYU Poly. I love helping my students build their confidence in their subject. I am skilled at developing customized approach and teaching style for each student to be result oriented.
Experience
I started personal tutoring since my high school when I worked with students ranging from first grade to twelfth grade in all subjects specially math. I most commonly tutored in math, science, and English. After then until recently, I tutored several elementary, middle, high school age, college and adult students on various subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Engineering Mechanics, Excel and SPSS.
Approach
I believe tutoring math and engineering subjects should be fun and interesting if the right approach is used. This makes me flexible on my approaches explaining a topic or solving a problem. The computation part of math problems is mechanical once we understand the logic and concept behind its use in daily life or engineering application. Initially, I stress the concepts and prepare drill exercises and home works to reinforce the concepts learned.

I took C++ in my college second year and began using it for subsequent coding projects. It was a great way to begin my journey into computer programming. I used C++ to do senior project too.
College Algebra Tutoring
I love teaching Algebra on all levels specially College Algebra. I started tutoring college Algebra helping my classmates and subsequently my students when I was in undergraduate college.
Computer Engineering Tutoring
I took a number of undergraduate, MSc and PhD engineering courses specially computer and electrical. I can help my students on the subjects I took based on the syllabus they have.

I took C++ programming in my undergraduate and I know java. I can help my students on their programming courses such as C++, java and C#. I can help on building solid programming foundation for my students.

I took a number of undergraduate, MSc and PhD engineering courses specially computer and electrical. I can help my students on computer science subjects I took based on the syllabus they have.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
I took elementary and Advanced statistics in my undergraduate studies with excellent scores. I have also tutored probability and statistics in my senior year of college and throughout my professional life as a par time personal tutor.
Math Tutoring
I believe college math should really be fun as it connect us with real life application of math. I took several math courses in undergraduate and graduate courses such as engineering math, applied mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, differential equation and numerical methods. I can help my students on a number of areas in their college math.

I took several math courses in undergraduate and graduate courses such as engineering math, applied mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, differential equation and numerical methods. I can help my students on a number of math areas including advanced undergraduate math courses.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took pre-calculus in my high school studies with excellent scores. I have also tutored pre-calculus since then until now as a par time personal tutor.
Writing Tutoring
I have taken several writing courses in college and have received the highest possible letter grade in each course. I also took college English and technical writing and presentation courses throughout graduate and undergraduate studies. I have prepared technical and professional documents for publication in professional and academic career. I can help students creative and technical writing.
Arabic Tutoring
I took Arabic since my elementary school as a second language and I used it sine then. I have an excellent Arabic skill sets for someone learning Arabic as a second language. Recently, I tutored an elementary student on her Arabic class.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I love teaching math in all levels. At this moment I have a group of three students from middle school that I help them on their Algebra 1 class. I believe in laying good foundation for math and I am excited to help students from elementary and middle school age groups.
