Fun Facts

I am nonbinary and go by they/them/theirs pronouns. I love playing video games. I have always cherished my xbox360, but I am definitely a PC gamer. While I have lived in Oregon my whole life, I have visited the middle east a couple times to become familiar with my family's and my own culture. I have also visited Brazil a few times as my fiancé is from there.

About Me

I am a PSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering. I worked as an engineer for a few years and wanted to get back into tutoring.

Experience

I have been working here for frogtutoring for a few months, aiding students in math mostly. I tutored at Mt Hood Community College for a year before going to Portland State University. Along with actual work experience, I have helped many of my classmates understand the course material to the point where my professors began noticing. I even helped a classmate pass math111, pre-calculus, after many previously failed attempts in the class.

Approach

As a tutor, I want to guide students in order to understand their course learning. Not only have I always had the ability to learn quickly, I have gained the ability through enough experience to know what a student needs in order to succeed so that I may just as well tutor. I approach each subject matter seriously and thoroughly, working step-by-step through each problem and attempting to understand how the student learns best.
