Fun Facts
I have been playing cello since 3rd grade! Music has allowed me to have so many experiences and I hope it continues to do so. I also make and sell jewelry and home goods. I use inspiration from nature. I love to go hiking and always do so on my days off! Occasionally, I run trivia at local restaurants where I make up the questions and score the answers myself. I attended graduate school in Florence, Italy!
About Me
I studied History in undergrad and Museum Studies in graduate school. My graduate thesis was written on Teen Programs in Museums. I currently work at Vassar College in the community-engaged learning office and I work in the Teen/Family Programs at the Met Museum in New York City. I enjoy sharing the information I have learned with other people. I like to draw from art, nature, and history when I teach young people.
Experience
I worked with DC Public Schools for several years as a classroom evaluator. As an art camp director, I created lesson plans and taught students ranging from 4-12 years old. I have worked at the Met Museum for 3 years in the Teen/Family programs. At the Met, I facilitate lessons related to the art collection.
Approach
