Fun Facts

I've been to 9 different states in the u.s, lived in Hawaii for a year, recently crossed the Canadian border, and traveled to several parts of Europe right out of high school. I have an adventurous side, and a passion for helping others. I've been skydiving in Hawaii, and I would highly recommend it for anybody. In high school I was president of Key club, which is a club that works closely with Kiwanis, who raise funds for children in our community.

About Me

I'm originally from Whittier, California. I moved out to Chicago to study creative writing in hopes of finishing my own book and getting it published. I'm the youngest of three but out of us all I'm the one everybody comes to for help in school. Currently everybody in my house is going to school, and my mom recently decided to go back so I'm always the "go-to" person. My brother is taking online math courses so he's always having me help, and my mom likes to read me any of her essays to proofread.

I've never officially had any chicago">tutoring experience but I try to help people as often as I can even if I'm not an expert. I have had some experience with young children, mainly babysitting, but I believe that even watching over children is educational in some way. I am looking forward to working with children who are struggling in a subject so that i can help further their success in life.

I guess my chicago">tutoring approach would be to listen, and have patience with the students. I want them to feel comfortable asking for help. I know that I find it hard to ask others for help because I like to think that I can do everything on my own. Patience is key, and positive encouragement is crucial when it comes to helping others.
