Fun Facts
My favorite subject is Financial Economics. Reading is my favorite pastime.
About Me
I am a senior Business major with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. I hope to attend Columbia University for my Doctorate in Financial Economics. My ultimate goal is to become an active contributor to the Journal of Financial Economics and a tenured Professor of Finance.
Experience
I have been a Teaching Assistant for four courses: Introduction to Business, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Micro/Macroeconomics, and Introduction to Finance. I currently tutor clients attending Newton-North High School in subjects including SAT prep, Mathematics (all levels), Chemistry, History and English Composition. In high school, I tutored the Writing Section of the SAT, as well as AP Chemistry and AB Calculus.
Approach
Explain everything like you're speaking to a kindergartner.
A problem is the sum of its constituent parts. By decomposing problems this way, a solution is simply an application of several simple components.
I teach students how to think, and most importantly, why problems make sense. They, in turn, learn how to make sense of the information on their own.
