Fun Facts
One thing people find interesting about me is that I love to read scientific journals! I receive Science and Genome magazines and I read them like a novel!
I enjoy being outside and enjoying nature, walking my dog (and my sisters...and my mothers...:), camping and organizing.
About Me
I love a variety of approaches to education, since children do not all learn the same way. It is important to hone in to their learning style, but more importantly, to help them to identify it and use it to their advantage.
I have been in a variety of educational environments including public and private schools, catholic school system, homeschooling communities, as well as working with classical curriculum.
Experience
As a recent graduate from Regis College with my BS in Biology, I was a non traditional student and took my classes part-time. This gave me a great opportunity to work with younger students and observe their levels of interest as well as how the professors worked with different learning styles. Before Regis I attended MassBay and earned my AA in Psychology
