Fun Facts

One passion of mine is that I LOVE to write poetry! I am a two-time self-published author. The title of my publications are 'Love's Prisoner' and 'Read in Between the Lines'. I also help organize community events that help inform the community on pertinent information, heighten the awareness of domestic violence and also give away school supplies for each school year!

About Me

I am currently a part of a non-profit organization that aids in mentoring the youth. We work with the youth in small classes that promote mental and physical health and wellness, education, and exploration, and we also hold community outreach endeavors that connect the community with the services, information, and resources needed

Experience

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, where I attended DeVry University and graduated in 2006. While at DeVry, I tutored many students in math and engineering. I have also volunteered in the BIG Brother's BIG Sister's Organization while in college and was also the President of Tau Alpha Pi National Honor's Society. After graduation, I continued to train adults in various jobs and also helped young children in math, reading, fundamentals, and cognitive thinking.

Approach

As a child, my favorite subject was always math and I excelled in this subject the most. In both middle and high school I was on the Mathletes competition team and also received a 570 (Pass Plus) score on the High School Graduation Test. My goal is to teach other students skills and tactics I learned and acquired to help me excel in math and other subjects. I also endeavor to restore the excitement and proficiency in math and reading, as these are the foundation of all other subjects.
