Fun Facts
I am a lover of dance. I was a gymnast growing up but switched to dance in high school. While I've never taken a lot of dance classes per say it runs in my blood and everyone knows me as the dancer, my favorites are any of the Latin dance (salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha, etc), waltz and foxtrot. I was an international studies major so I love learning about all things culture and travel.
About Me
I'm currently a bilingual math and reading intervention specialist for an elementary school as well as an adjunct instructor at a local college. I am extremely close to my family, my boyfriend, and my three best friends. I grew up in Texas but went to college in North Carolina, studied in 3 countries, 6 of those months being in Costa Rica, and then worked two years in Arizona before returning to Texas. I love the variety of ages I get to work and look forward to working with you.
Experience
I have been tutoring since I was in honor society in junior high. I've now tutored 2nd grade- college. I have taught as a full time teacher 4-6th grade and now teach at the local community college. I am also a reading and math intervention specialist now at an elementary school.
Approach
I'm very whole child approached. I work to personalize a students experience as much as I can, each individual is different and deserve a plan that works best for them. I love technology and really enjoy incorporating that when I work with students.

I am an educator and have been teaching and tutoring for 15 years. I now work at a community college as an adjunct instructor and at an elementary school as a math and reading interventionist and know the ropes quite well within schools.
