Most people wouldn't guess this about me but I love the outdoors. I am an avid hiker when I have time. Also, I'm an archer. Owner of an olympic-grade recurve bow.
About Me
Born and raised in Southern California. I graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Evolutionary Biology. I have 1 year-old male Green-cheek parakeet named Orion. I am currenly enrolled at Johns Hopkins University for a MS in Environmental Science & Policy
Experience
I have completed an internship at the American Museum of Natural History in undergrad and have completed research fellowships in evolutionary and population genetics at the San Deigo Zoo Institute for Conservation Research and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and National Zoological Park. I am currently working as a wildlife law & policy intern at the Animal Welfare Institute & research intern at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute./
Approach
My approach to biology is the concept are relatively fundamental, the thing that tricks people up is the terminology and/or understanding the order of things. I learn and teach best both by doing procedures or experiments and going over visual representations of the topics & processes.

Biology I Tutoring
I have taken graduate courses and was a teaching assistant for the first year of my graduate certificate program at Fordham University. Thus I was in charge of teaching and assistanting with intro biology labs at the college level.
