About Me
I was born in the U.S. but stayed in China for a few summers. I'm majoring in economics and minoring in accounting. I'm currently a freshman at SPU. My goal is to be an accountant or a meteorologist.
Experience
I have volunteered at an organization called NBA-autism that helps kids with autism develop social skills that are needed for life. During my senior year at high school, I have working with students in an elementary school nearby with their game nights and late-night tutoring. This year, I have worked as a teacher assistant for students learning Chinese at SPU, the current school I'm in.
Approach
I have struggled with literature and writing classes throughout Jr. High and high school. I have had tutoring in language arts from when I was four to my sophomore year. The services I received have really helped me be where I am today and I feel it's my responsibility as a potential tutor to make sure my students are as successful as I was.

Conversational Mandarin Tutoring
I have lived in China during the summer for several years from 5th to 8th grade. I speak Mandarin at home fluently and am eager to become a conversational tutor who can help students learn to speak Chinese. I believe learning Chinese can be challenging but can be great life-learning experience.
