Fun Facts
One of my passions is staying active. I’ve been involved with playing rugby and flag football at Spelman College and Morehouse. Being the fact that I have so much energy, these sports really are help towards that characteristic. I am also currently Co Captain of The Morehouse ‘House of Funk’ Band Color Guard Team where I am involved with a group of girls who love to twirl flags and be apart of the band.
About Me
I am a Senior Dual Engineering and Math Major at Spelman College. I am involved in a lot of extracurricular activities for the Atlanta University Center, both academically and for entertainment. After graduation from Spelman, I plan on going to North Carolina A&T where I will finish my Biomedical Engineering education. From them I would like to continue my participation in education the you in STEM subject, but also continue my research in prosthetics.
Experience
I was a Math Tutor at Spelman both my Freshman and Sophomore year of college. On most Summer breaks I find myself involved in summer programs for students that also would like to continue their education but in a more interesting way.Programs such as Columbus Parks and Rec, and the GREAT Program are what got me more interested in tutoring.
Approach
When tutoring get to know the student personality towards the subject at hand in order to see how t help them. I want the student to feel comfortable in developing a brand new way to learn a subject that they may not have the best skill in. I feel that it is my job to help achieve ones goal and then some. Helping them to understand and soon love the subject that they didn’t like before.

Japanese Tutoring
I grew up interested in the Japanese culture, and decided to take it as my foreign language in College. I received opportunities such as going to Japan 2016 Summer to continue my research in the subject. I would love to help anyone who is interested in the Japanese culture. After actual experience in the country I feel anyone should partake in the subject.
Trigonometry Tutoring
Trig is another form of math which involves the circle and it's measurements. For a second this was tricky for me to learn but I eventually discovered a way that would help me succeed in the subject.
Algebra Tutoring
I received a B or better in this class. Math is one of my favorite subjects, so I would never steer anyone in the wrong direction. I found better ways for me to understand the different subjects of Math in high school, and could do the same for anyone else.

It was my job to learn how to code websites using HTML but to also know how to use other website software such as dream weaver. This is probably one of the best talents that I could have ever learned while growing up, and would be happy to show anyone else who is interested.
