Fun Facts
I was a child actor, and was homeschooled for one year to work and go on auditions. I had many tutors myself, due to missed classes and hours spent on sets. I was classically trained on piano and studied music before going to medical school!
About Me
I am currently a medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and have several years of tutoring experience and TA experience in college.
Experience
For six years, I have worked with students to help them complete and understand the work assigned to them, while also giving them a head start on lessons to come. I have tutored individually and in small groups. In addition to tutoring my peers in high school and college, I have tutored elementary aged students ranging in grade levels from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. My strongest subjects are biology, chemistry, and physics.
Approach
The importance of quality educators has become evident to me through my college years. Studying at a small liberal arts college allowed me to have a maximum of 15 students in my classes... The importance of individualized learning and attention to each student is very important! When this isn't possible, tutors can be extremely helpful.
