Fun Facts

I am currently on one of the Bollywood dance teams at Drexel, Drexel Fanaa. I have been dancing for around 16 years. I was previously on the varsity basketball team and I have been playing competitively for around 10 years. I am also an avid reader. I have seen various surgeries ranging from ACL tears to total knee replacements under my internship with an orthopedic surgeon.

About Me

I am currently a sophomore at Drexel University. I am a Pre-Med student who has aspirations to get into medical school. I have a passion for biology and I love helping others. I am a hard-working student who gets her work done efficiently. I am always eager to take on new responsibilities. I have high goals for myself that I will achieve through my perseverance and dedication.

I have been philadelphia">tutoring other students since I was a freshmen in high school in 2009. I have helped elementary, middle, and high school students in various subjects, mostly science and math. Although I tutored mostly for free, the experiences I had are irreplaceable and showed me the value in teaching others learn something that may not be as easy for them.

I love working with students and being able to see the light bulb go off in their minds once they've understood what I was trying to teach them. I will start off by asking my students what concepts they are confused about, I will then proceed to give them a brief overview of said concept, and ask them to do an example problem for me so I can see where their difficulties come into play. If they are still confused, I will find another method to teach the same concept for a better understanding. After they get a good grasp on the concept, I will then proceed to give them a few problems to see if the concept makes sense when they work the problem alone. Then I will ask them if they have any other questions.
