Fun Facts

I've lived in Florida for 13 years and enjoy outdoor activites, such as kayaking, scuba diving, jetskiing and essentially any water activity! I am a middle child, one of 3. In my free time I enjoy cooking and reading, as well as taking any opportunity I have to go to the beach!

About Me

I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in psychology from the central-florida">University of Central Florida, completeing my in 3 years. After completeing my Doctorate degree, I plan on being a licensed therapist and hope to open a practice. I also have interest in police psychology and hope to explore the field.

During my years as an undergraduate, I briefly worked for an agency that provided services to kids in the foster system. I have experience as a mentor working for that agency. Most of my experience is informal, assissting family and family friends with their children. However, my experince in psychology and passion for kids allows me to quickly learn about children and effectively improve their habits!

Throughout my childhood, I was fortunate enough to have a fostering environment for my learning and study skills. As a miami">tutor, I hope to provide this kind of opportunity to the session I conduct, allowing the student to learn as well as feel competent and encouraged in their attempts. I also like to focus on modeling and social learning-- allowing students to learn by watching and doing instead of simply being taught. I feel that interaction is very important to the learning process.
