Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE to write stories in my spare time! I am currently working on finishing my first historical fiction novel based in Poland during World War II. I hope to have it published by 2020. Something else that people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE to talk about a variety of things as well as the fact that I have a 5 year old brother named Ryder.

About Me

I am a 28 year old woman who graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. When I was a student there, I managed to make the Dean's List and the Chancellor's List in back to back semesters! My ultimate goal is to become a National Best Selling Writer as well as a Librarian.

Experience

As I was initially an Education major while at UNCC, I was given plenty of time to be in the classroom and therefore had time to see firsthand what students tended to pick up rather quickly in terms of lessons while also seeing what they struggled with at the same time. Working for Frog Tutoring would give me the opportunity to instill my love of learning into as many children, teens and adults in the Charlotte and Lancaster SC areas as I possibly can!

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
