Fun Facts
I grew up in three different countries: Taiwan, Paraguay, and the U.S. I speak three different languages, and have gone to school in all these countries. My biggest dream is to travel around the world! I love to dance and I have been on a dance team for the past seven years of my life. I think that life is so much better when you can dance to any beat!
About Me
I am a recent graduate from Umass Amherst. I graduated with honors with a B.S. in Kinesiology and pre-med track. I hope to go to medical school in the next two years but I am currently doing research at Brigham & Women's hospital.
Experience
I had the opportunity to work with kids ranging from elementary to middle school during my last two years in college. I tutored kids in all subject areas and taught them skills they could use to succeed in future schooling. In college, I led study groups in subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and other science courses.
Approach
As a child, I had many many tutors in order to help me get on track with the other kids after a big move. I had language tutors on top of regular tutors in order to keep up with school. I learned my approaches in teaching through some of the best tutors I've had. I believe in positive encouragement and lots of practice, because practice makes perfect. I am also a big believer on making difficult materials 'fun' and 'enjoyable'!

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

I am a native Chinese Mandarin speaker. I went to a public elementary in Taiwan until the third grade, and continued schooling there from 8th through 10th grade, where I learned all subjects in Chinese Mandarin. I can read, write, and converse.
