Fun Facts

I'm on way to becoming a polyglot and am an obsessive musician. I've taught myself three instruments along with the relevant theory and currently I'm desperately working to improve my ability to sight-read music. As the example says as well, although I'm horrible at it, I thoroughly enjoy singing.. dancing not so much.

About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Arizona with a major in Foreign Affairs and a minor in Arabic. As it stands right now, I'll most likely take the GRE next month and begin applying to various graduate programs. In all likelihood I'll continue to study Political Science and other relevant subjects.

Experience

I have a decent amount of experience "tutoring" tech skills, and recreationally I insist on teaching music theory and practical skills to anyone with any semblance of interest therein. However, I'd relish an opportunity to tutor a language in which I am fluent and thereby gain better insight into the process of learning language. "How" we learn has always been of great interest to me.

Approach

Though I grew up bilingual I've had to learn the other languages without the privilege of getting to practice in the household. With each new language I've learned I've discovered new ways of studying, understanding concepts and memorizing increasingly large amounts of material. Grant me a bit of time with a particular pupil and I'm confident I'll be able to understand their learning process and utilize this to better help them.
