Fun Facts
My hometown is Omaha, Nebraska where I have two younger sisters. In the summers I work as a nursing assistant on an Oncology floor, and also on a golf course part time for fun. I love traveling when I get the opportunity, and even got to go to Ethiopia this past summer!
About Me
I am a junior nursing major at Texas Christian University and I am also a part of the Honors College. After graduation I hope to get a job as an RN at a hospital either in Texas or even somewhere new, maybe as a traveling nurse! I plan on going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner after working for a few years.
Experience
In high school I occasionally tutored younger students during my senior year. Last year I started tutoring with a reading program at a Fort Worth elementary school.
Approach
I have always enjoyed teaching and helping other people learn. When I was younger, I thought I wanted to become a teacher but then discovered my interest in the health profession. However, I still love opportunities to teach and find it very rewarding to help others feel successful in their classes.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

I took microbiology last year as well as the microbiology lab. I was asked by my professor to be a TA but was unable to do so because of my schedule.

I took nutrition through my nursing coursework and feel even more comfortable with the content after having additional courses that cover similar material.

I have taken sociology through my nursing coursework and feel very comfortable with the material, I have had additional experience with this content through other classes as well.
Study Skills Tutoring
As a junior in college I have been able to test study habits as well as learn new skills from my peers. I am very organized and enjoy planning how and when to study.

I took biology, anatomy, and AP biology in high school and have since taken college level anatomy, microbiology, nutrition, pathophysiology and pharmacology.

I am very proficient in grammar and spelling and received a 34 on the English portion of the ACT.
